These Terms & Conditions apply to the sale of trailers, parts, accessories and related products by Yeti Trailer Co (“we”, “us” or “our”).
By placing an order with Yeti Trailer Co, you (“the Customer”) agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects a consumer's statutory rights.

2. Quotations and Orders
All quotations are subject to availability and are valid for the period stated on the quotation.
An order is accepted when we confirm the order and/or accept the required deposit or payment.
It is the Customer's responsibility to check that all details on the quotation, order confirmation or invoice are correct before confirming the order.
This includes the trailer model, dimensions, axle configuration, maximum authorised mass, accessories, optional extras and any requested modifications.
If you are purchasing a trailer for a particular vehicle, boat, machine, container, tiny house, sauna or other specific purpose, you should make this clear to us before ordering.
3. Prices and VAT
Prices will be stated as either including or excluding VAT as indicated on the relevant quotation, invoice or website listing.
The price applicable to an order will be the price confirmed on the Customer's order confirmation or invoice.
Any additional products, modifications, accessories, delivery charges or other services requested after an order has been confirmed may be charged separately.
4. Deposits
We may require a deposit to secure stock, commence an order with our manufacturer or begin work on a customised order.
The amount required will be confirmed before the order is placed.
Once we have committed funds, placed an order with a manufacturer, incurred transport or other costs, or commenced customisation following the Customer's instruction, cancellation may result in us retaining an amount from the deposit or other advance payments to cover losses and costs reasonably incurred as a result of the cancellation.
We will not retain more than we are legally entitled to retain.
For customised, personalised or genuinely bespoke products, different cancellation rights may apply as set out below.
5. Balance Payments
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the outstanding balance must be paid in full before the trailer or goods are collected or delivered.
We reserve the right to withhold collection, release or delivery until cleared payment has been received in full.
Ownership of the trailer or goods will not pass to the Customer until we have received full payment of all amounts due.
6. Made-to-Order and Customised Trailers
Some trailers are manufactured, sourced or customised specifically following a Customer's order.
This may include non-standard dimensions, configurations, accessories, modifications or other specifications requested specifically by the Customer.
Customers should carefully check and approve the specification before we place a customised order or begin modification work.
Where a product is genuinely made to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalised, statutory cancellation rights that would otherwise apply to certain distance or off-premises consumer contracts may not apply.
This does not affect the Customer's statutory rights where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to conform to the contract.
7. Cancellations
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact Yeti Trailer Co as soon as possible.
Any refund or cancellation charge will depend on the circumstances of the order, including whether:
the trailer was held specifically for the Customer;
we have already ordered the trailer from the manufacturer;
manufacturing has commenced;
the trailer has been transported or imported;
customisation or modification work has commenced;
accessories have been ordered or fitted; or
other reasonable costs have already been incurred.
Where the Customer has a statutory right to cancel, these Terms & Conditions do not restrict that right.
Where no statutory cancellation right applies, we will consider reasonable cancellation requests individually. We may deduct losses and reasonable costs resulting from the cancellation where legally permitted.
8. Distance and Online Sales
Consumers who purchase certain standard products online, by telephone or otherwise at a distance may have a statutory right to cancel their contract within the applicable cancellation period.
Where this right applies, information about exercising it will be provided in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Certain goods made to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalised may be exempt from the statutory right to cancel.
Cancellation rights do not affect a consumer's separate legal rights in relation to faulty, misdescribed or non-conforming goods.
9. Estimated Production and Delivery Times
Any manufacturing, availability, collection or delivery date provided by Yeti Trailer Co is an estimate unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
We will make reasonable efforts to meet estimated timescales but delays can occur due to manufacturing, component availability, transport, ferry services, customs clearance, weather or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will keep Customers informed of significant delays where reasonably possible.
10. Delivery
Where Yeti Trailer Co arranges delivery, the Customer must provide an accurate and suitable delivery address and notify us of any access restrictions.
The Customer is responsible for ensuring there is safe and reasonable access for the delivery vehicle and trailer.
Additional costs resulting from incorrect information, failed delivery, unsuitable access or a requested change to the delivery arrangements may be charged to the Customer where reasonable.
The Customer should inspect the trailer as soon as reasonably possible following delivery and notify us promptly of any visible transport damage or other issues.
11. Collection
Where the Customer collects a trailer, the Customer is responsible for ensuring that the towing vehicle, towbar, electrical connection and other towing equipment are suitable and legally compliant.
The driver is responsible for ensuring they hold the appropriate driving licence and that the vehicle and trailer combination complies with applicable towing, weight and road traffic requirements.
Yeti Trailer Co reserves the right to refuse to release a trailer for towing where we reasonably believe doing so would create an immediate safety or legal issue.
12. Trailer Weights, Dimensions and Payloads
Trailer dimensions, unladen weights, payloads and other specifications shown on our website, quotations or marketing materials are based on manufacturer information and the relevant trailer specification.
The fitting of optional equipment, accessories or modifications may alter the trailer's unladen weight and therefore its available payload.
Customers must ensure that the trailer is operated within its permitted weight limits and that loads are correctly positioned and secured.
13. Road Use and Registration
Where applicable, trailers are supplied with the relevant manufacturer documentation, including a Certificate of Conformity (COC).
Requirements for registration, insurance, towing, licensing and road use may vary depending on the country in which the trailer is operated.
The Customer is responsible for complying with applicable local requirements after purchase unless we have expressly agreed to provide a particular registration or related service.
14. Warranty
Unless otherwise stated for a particular product, new Yeti Trailer Co trailers are supplied with:
5-year chassis warranty
1-year warranty on moving parts/components
Warranty coverage is subject to the applicable manufacturer or supplier warranty terms.
The warranty does not normally cover damage or failure resulting from misuse, overloading, accident damage, incorrect maintenance, unauthorised modification, normal wear and tear or use outside the trailer's intended specification.
Nothing in this warranty section limits a consumer's statutory rights.
15. Faults and Warranty Claims
If you believe there is a fault with your trailer or another product supplied by us, please contact Yeti Trailer Co as soon as reasonably possible.
Please provide:
Your name and order/invoice details
Trailer model or identification details
A description of the issue
Photographs or video where appropriate
We may need to inspect the trailer or ask for further information before determining the appropriate remedy.
Consumer goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for any particular purpose made known to us where the relevant legal requirements are met.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or restricts rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
16. Modifications After Purchase
Yeti Trailer Co is not responsible for faults, damage or compliance issues caused by modifications, alterations or accessories fitted by the Customer or an unauthorised third party after purchase.
Any modification must not cause the trailer to exceed its plated weights or otherwise make it unsafe or unlawful to use.
17. Customer Responsibility
The Customer is responsible for using, maintaining and loading the trailer safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions and applicable law.
This includes checking, where applicable:
Tyres and tyre pressures
Wheel bolts
Coupling and breakaway cable
Lights and electrical connections
Brakes
Load distribution
Load security
Maximum permitted weights
The Customer remains responsible for ensuring the trailer and towing combination are suitable and legal for the intended journey.
18. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to those protections, Yeti Trailer Co will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into.
For business customers, we will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of revenue or loss of opportunity except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
19. Business Customers
Where the Customer is purchasing wholly or mainly for business purposes, they will be treated as a business customer.
Business Customers must pay invoices according to the payment terms stated on the invoice or otherwise agreed in writing.
Where legally applicable, we reserve the right to claim statutory interest and debt recovery costs on overdue business-to-business payments.
20. Events Outside Our Control
We will not be responsible for delay or failure to perform our obligations where caused by events outside our reasonable control.
These may include manufacturing delays, supply shortages, transport disruption, ferry cancellations, customs delays, severe weather, industrial action, government action or other similar events.
We will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect of such events and resume performance as soon as reasonably practicable.
21. Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure information, specifications, photographs and prices displayed on our website are accurate.
Product photographs are illustrative and minor differences in components, finish or specification may occur where manufacturers update products.
If we discover a material error affecting an order, we will contact the Customer as soon as reasonably possible.
22. Privacy
Personal information supplied to Yeti Trailer Co will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
23. Complaints
If you have a complaint regarding an order, product or service, please contact us so that we can investigate and attempt to resolve the matter.

24. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions and any contract between Yeti Trailer Co and the Customer are governed by the applicable laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights a consumer may have under the law applicable to them.
Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of mandatory legal protections or rights regarding where proceedings may be brought.
25. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The Terms & Conditions applicable to an order will normally be those in force when the Customer places the order, unless a change is required by law or otherwise agreed between us.
